Google Ads Budget Calculator

Estimate what a Google Ads budget could deliver before you spend it. Enter a monthly or daily budget, your average cost per click (CPC), click-through rate (CTR), and conversion rate. The calculator shows estimated clicks, impressions, conversions, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS) when you also enter an average order value.

Worked example

With a $900 monthly budget, $1.50 CPC, 5% CTR, 4% conversion rate, and $80 average order value: clicks are 900 divided by 1.50, which is 600. Impressions are 600 divided by 0.05, which is 12,000. Conversions are 600 times 0.04, which is 24. CPA is 900 divided by 24, which is $37.50. Revenue is 24 times $80, which is $1,920, and ROAS is $1,920 divided by $900, which is 2.13x. These are estimates, not guarantees.

How to read the result

If CPA is higher than the profit you make from a conversion, the plan needs work even if clicks look cheap. Try a lower CPC by improving Quality Score, a tighter keyword list, or a better landing page before you simply raise the budget. Related guides: budget planning, Quality Score, and keyword research.
